Welcome
Huntingdon House is a small, specialist school for young people aged 10–16 who require a personalised approach to learning.
Many of our students arrive having experienced challenges in mainstream education, and our aim is to provide them with a supportive environment where they can rebuild confidence, develop independence and rediscover a positive relationship with learning.
At the heart of our school is the belief that every young person can succeed when they are understood, supported and encouraged. Our students benefit from small class sizes, close relationships with staff and a carefully designed curriculum that reflects their individual needs, strengths and interests.
Learning at Huntingdon House is built around a broad and balanced curriculum based on the National Curriculum, enriched with life skills, creative opportunities, educational visits and real life experiences. We encourage students to explore their interests, develop their talents and take pride in their achievements.
Our dedicated staff work closely with families, local authorities and other professionals to ensure that each student receives the support they need to thrive both academically and personally. We believe education should support the development of the whole child, including emotional wellbeing, social skills and preparation for adult life.
Huntingdon House is more than a school – it is a community where students feel respected, heard and valued. Together we create an environment where young people can grow in confidence, develop meaningful relationships and prepare for the next stage of their journey.
We are delighted to welcome you to our school community.
